I don't know if this is because of the enormous amount of data Kontakt is handling when doing an entire CD convert, or something else, but here is how I do it.ġ. Has anyone experienced any issues importing Roland Patches or experienced bugs of this nature?įrom my own experience, almost 100% successful Roland CD conversion will take place IF YOU DO NOT TRY TO CONVERT THE WHOLE CD at once. When I load the patches from the CD into the Roland XV-5080 everything is fine, BTW. The fact that it only does this on a few keys and the rest of the keyboard plays the samples correctly is odd. Looking at the samples I can see where it is incorrect and I can go in and manually fix the problems by getting the correct samples on the correct keys, but I am not sure what the problem is with the import process. IE, play middle C and it plays a C and a D#. On those keys, samples are somehow incorrect and when I play those keys I get two voices playing at one time with one of them being the note a half step down from what it supposed to be.

When I import a particular PATCH from my Symphony Of Voices ROLAND CD, everything is fine except for four or five keys in the middle of the keyboard. I usually can import Roland CD material with no problems (I've had an XV-5080 for quite a while and still like to use many great samples I have purchased over the years) but in this case something weird happens.
